I know we haven't had the opportunity to meet, but I wanted to reach out and thank you.

In the time I have been with Walters Management Jim Hartland has done an outstanding job for Liberty Station 7 Association and Liberty Station Community Association.

I'd like to list just a few of the things Jim does for Walters, the Associations and myself:

  • Works within budget constraints
  • Provides appropriate recommendations
  • Proactively points out items needing attention
  • Provides guidelines and accountability to other subcontracts and for RFP's
  • Holds his team and onsite staff accountable and is available to train & coach
  • He is direct and to the point; making sure I know options and consequences
  • Jim is working with me to create long term Preventative Maintenance Schedules for each Association
  • Jim takes responsibility for the quality of work completed and accuracy of bids provided (not always easy); this has created more and more opportunities for additional bid work outside of contract
  • Jim is up front and has built a relationship of trust based on solid recommendations and follow through; creating an opportunity to triple the onsite contract

This list is not exhaustive, as there are many other things Jim does to ensure the quality of service provided is what it should be.  It is a pleasure to work with a vendor I can rely on to get the job done properly, within budget and on time.  If all my vendors had the same attention to detail and work ethic Liberty Station would be a 4 star property.

Hi Steve,

One of our Wateridge homeowners, who is the husband of a former Board member, asked me to pass some positive feedback on to ResCom. Jeff said, “I would just like to let you know and hopefully you can pass this along to ResCom, that not just this effort, but also other jobs they've done around the complex have been great. Also, I was very impressed with Adam (I believe was his name) when he stopped by yesterday to pick up the new doggie bag dispensers and boxes of bags. He was very friendly and mentioned he would fill the new dispensers with bags once installed – a task I hadn’t even thought to include on the work order! It’s little things like that that reflect the character and professionalism of a person.

I just wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts with you about the services provided. Maria Leon and her staff have been doing an outstanding job at keeping our restaurant beautifully clean. Aside from the daily clean up, her team manages to focus on the details like the A/C vents, lighting and high dusting jobs that seem to be constantly overlooked elsewhere. As a chef/manager my time is precious and when I don’t have to be the one to point out the details that should be obvious I can focus my attention where it belongs, with my guests’. I can’t tell you how many times I have been in restaurants only to notice their dirty vents, dusty tv’s, burned out lights, etc. While one might not notice these things upon a quick glance, when everything is perfect one can’t help but notice how good a place feels when everything is in order. Kudos to ResCom and your team of professionals! I wish more places had the foresight to hire a service as thorough and professional as yours. Over the past 10 years, Bosa has completed a number of high rise residential towers in San Diego.  In many of them, Bosa and/or the Association has retained ResCom to perform janitorial, building engineering and maintenance, and pool service duties. The Grande South at Santa Fe Place is a high-rise consisting of 39 residential floors, three underground parking levels and levels for mechanical equipment.  ResCom has provided contract building engineering and custodial service since 2005.  During that time I have found the ownership and the staff placed here invaluable in operating the building in a first-class manner.  The on-site engineer is hard working, enthusiastic, productive, dependable, and an integral part of our team.  The custodian staff is also friendly, hard working, and takes care of every aspect of cleaning the building to a first-class standard.

Whenever we need help Mark Sutton and staff has always been there for The Grande South.  Any afterhours or weekend call has been promptly responded to.  As an example, just a few weeks ago water was found spraying from a pipe on a Sunday afternoon; when called, our ResCom engineer arrived within 30 minutes and clamped the pipe to stop the leak right away.  Just knowing that ResCom is a “go-to” contractor, in an emergency gives Management a better nights rest.

The ResCom people that are assigned here are also friendly and happy, which the Residents are always commenting on.
